Behind the Exterior

I smile_{, the very facade radiating a confirmed-positivity.
The mask I wear, it no longer is, for it has become a compulsive face of its own.
As long as I keep everyone around me happy, I no longer have to pickup broken pieces-
Broken hearts; shattered hopes and fanning away illusions.
I smile, because I can. Keep it up.
Ever so often,
the innocent and curious comes along-
They read me critcally, like art at an open exhibition.
The mask of smiles cracks, for they dont look at my smile-
They look, curiously into my eyes...
They find something else there.
They find, what is truly behind the exterior.}
