Shining Star

We walked around the center of town, documenting for our project. Walls cried out in dilapidation, while scared by years of graffitti, worn-down posters and the stench of old urine. Faces passed in a hurry, minding their own business or scurrying away from eminent harm. The center of Jo'Burg is not a safe haven for those who do not abide there.
Amongst the sky encompassing skyscappers, the hawkers, commuters, taxis, shops and loisterers... a small corner, by a beaten wooden door... I found a small gem, amongst the sharp and edgy core of the city.
A Shining Star... huddled away from the threat of the passer-bys.
