The Sun was setting. Casey sat down, took off her shoes and watched the lake from where she sat. It was peaceful most days, but today, it was peaceful and strangely beautiful too... something she'd not noticed about this place before...
"Victoria?" Casey began
"Yes? Oh my... What are you waiting for?! C'Mon Casey, lets do it, it will be fun!"
"Victoria... " Casey paused, frowned and struggled to find the words to her feelings.
Victoria took a few light steps forward, towards the waters below, she smiled in growing excitement.
Casey finally found the words she searched for and spoke her mind:
"Why is it that you are always so happy?"
Victoria stared at her best friend sitting upon the pier, she never stopped smiling,
"You think too much Casey... Those deep thoughts are the trappings of your life, free your mind. Savour these moments, for they are the things you remember, not those you toil to solve... Live for this moment... and be Free"
